How to use Bibecfo

These resources are intended for patients who have been prescribed Bibecfo for the treatment of asthma or COPD.

Bibecfo is supported by clear, easy-to-use patient resources. These include a how-to-use video as well as multilingual guides that can help reinforce and improve understanding for all your patients.

Bibecfo dose counter1,6

On the back of the Bibecfo inhaler, there is a dose counter to help patients keep track of the amount of medicine left in the canister.

A new inhaler contains 120 doses. The dose counter counts down by one each time a puff of medicine is released, meaning patients can always be sure of exactly how many doses they have left.

Patients should request a replacement inhaler when there are 20 doses remaining.

When the dose counter displays 0, patients should stop using the inhaler. This is because any medicine left in the canister may not be a full dose.

In line with asthma guidelines, Bibecfo 100/6mcg is a MART inhaler, allowing patients to use a single inhaler for both daily asthma control and symptom relief.1,8 This simplifies treatment, may improve adherence, and reduces inhaler waste.1,6,8,9

COPD = chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; MART = maintenance and reliever therapy.
